About TennisArena.eu
TennisArena.eu is an independent tennis-equipment database and comparison site for Europe. We catalogue racquets, strings, balls and grips from the manufacturer's own figures, check those figures against a published source, and score them with a formula that is printed on this site so anybody can repeat the arithmetic by hand.
What this site is
A catalogue with an opinion attached, and the two kept visibly apart. The catalogue is specifications: head size, weight, balance, string pattern, stiffness — entered from the maker's own sheet and checked against a source we link to. The opinion is a score calculated from those specifications, plus written reviews by coaches who have used the equipment. Where a figure is missing, the page says the figure is missing rather than estimating one.
Who runs it
TennisArena.eu is run from Bulgaria by its owner, working with a small number of certified coaches across Europe who write the trainer reviews under their own names. Every coach who appears on the site has a profile page listing the qualification they hold, the body that issued it and the club they coach at. There is no anonymous editorial voice here: a review is signed or it is calculated, and the page says which.
How the site is paid for
Two ways, both declared. Advertising space is sold on the pages, is labelled as advertising, and touches no score and no ranking. Links to shops may in future earn a referral commission; where an arrangement exists the shop is marked as a partner on the row that carries it, and the link is tagged as sponsored. No brand can buy a score, a placement, a review or a position in a comparison. If that ever changes, this paragraph changes first.
What we do not do
We do not sell equipment and we hold no stock. We do not publish prices as live figures — every price on the site carries the date it was recorded. We do not invent test results: nothing here claims a bench measurement that was not taken, and a specification we have not checked is labelled unchecked until somebody checks it. We do not remove a correction once published.
Getting something corrected
If a figure on this site is wrong, tell us and we will fix it and say that we did. Corrections are published and dated on the product page they belong to rather than quietly edited away — a site that only ever appears to have been right is not a site worth trusting. The contact form is the fastest route; the topic list has an entry for specification corrections.
The rules we hold to
Independent testing of tennis equipment across Europe — verified specifications, published corrections, no sponsored scores.
