What the sources agree on
All Court felt, sitting between the abrasion-resistance of Extra Duty and the softer profile of clay-specific balls, is a real, well-understood middle ground for players who split time between surfaces, and being the ATP's official ball means it's produced to the same ITF pressure and bounce specification the pros play with on tour.
Where they disagree
A ball built to perform reasonably on two surfaces is, by the same logic, rarely the single best choice on either one specifically — a hard-court specialist ball or a clay-specific ball will likely out-perform an all-court compromise on its home surface, though we haven't run our own side-by-side bounce/wear comparison to put a number on that gap.
