Casper Ruud is a Norwegian right-hander and the first Norwegian man to reach the world's top ten, trained largely by his father, a former touring professional. A clay-court specialist by upbringing who has since rounded out his game on other surfaces, he has reached multiple Grand Slam finals, including at the French Open and the US Open. His heavy topspin forehand and consistency from the back of the court have made him one of the most reliable performers on the ATP Tour.
